We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Legal Operations professional to join our Legal Department. In this role, you will be responsible for the organizational and project management needs of a globally-based Legal team. Legal Operations serves as the essential behind-the-scenes player that makes the Legal team more efficient, cost-effective, and strategically aligned with the business.
You will also be managing and making sure our onboarding with providers, internal clients and others are happening, along with due diligence.
You will be working in an international environment and coordinating responses from multiple departments in different countries.
Requirements
Role and responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Oversee the onboarding process for essential service providers, such as banking and trading partners, ensuring compliance with due diligence requirements.
- Corporate Onboarding: Manage the onboarding of corporate entities, including documentation and governance requirements.
- Internal stakeholders support: Coordinate responses to KYC requests and other onboarding needs raised by internal teams or external clients.
- Corporate Governance: Support corporate structure and governance processes, including preparing corporate resolutions and maintaining authorized signatory records for multiple entities.
- Cross-Regional Coordination: Handle onboarding and operational tasks across EMEA, APAC, and NAM regions, ensuring seamless collaboration with regional teams.
Background and experience
- Bachelor's degree in law, business, or a related field.
- Between 2 or 3 years of experience in a legal, paralegal, or operations role, ideally within a financial or international organization.
- Previous experience working in an International environment.
Skills and personality
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent follow-through.
- Effective communicator, able to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Professional proficiency in English and French.
- Legal background or experience in compliance is a plus but not mandatory.
