Job Description

We’re looking for our Lead Compensation and Benefits to join our team and build the foundations of our global total rewards. This is a new role in the company and we are looking for someone  to bring their strategic expertise and help us build a structured approach of total rewards from base salary banding, long-term incentives plans and bring clarity and alignment to our OSA/BSPCE programs. You’ll play a critical role in our annual compensation cycle, working closely with HRBPs and senior leadership to help Flowdesk increase talent density, by designing competitive compensation strategies..

If you’re looking for a relatively blank canvas to make your mark, this is it. We’re a scaling company with all the fast-moving energy of a startup, a collaborative team, and the opportunity for high visibility and impact.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Design and roll out global salary bandings and compensation grids for various job families, levels, and locations; EMEA, APAC and NAM.
  • Assess and recommend incentive frameworks, from bonus to equity programs, for different levels and functions.
  • Support and potentially lead, alongside HRBP’s and the Finance team, the annual compensation and bonus cycle,  including; budget planning, rationale and leadership calibration.
  • Establish and coordinate a Remuneration Committee to advise on comp-related decisions, bringing a business-first approach to compensation, challenge the "one-size-fits-all" model and tailor solutions to what makes sense to our current context.
  • Collaborate with the People Operations team to develop benefits policies and effective management of compensation and benefit related data.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing salary bands and total rewards frameworks from the ground up.
  • Experience in running global or multi-country compensation cycles.
  • Ideally some background in tech or financial services, but open to other fast-paced industries.
  • Experience with Compensation and Benefits consultancies are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with French shared option and local regulatory frameworks is a plus (maybe too repetitive)

Skills and personality

  • Highly autonomous, with strong ownership and accountability
  • A fast learner, curious, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
  • Able to balance data-driven thinking with practical execution
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the opportunity to build
  • Strong communicator, able to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels at the company, including C-levels
